Welcome to the official web site for author and magician:
Al Albers

Al has been studying the art of magic for over 40 years.  A part-time professional magician since 1981, he has entertained thousands of people throughout the United States, and in such diverse locales as Palma de Majorca, Spain; Naples, Italy; Tunis, Tunisia; Barcelona, Spain; Alexandria, Egypt; Kingston, Jamaica; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; and the U. S. Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico.

Past credits include programs for Boy Scout Troops, PTA meetings, variety shows and performances for the American Ambassador to Jamaica, American Embassy personnel, and the Jamaica/America Society.  From 1997 through 2003, Al was one of the featured performers at the "Magic at the Wells" shows in Norfolk, Virginia.

In addition to performing magic, Al has created several close-up and stage magic routines; several of which have been published in The Linking Ring, the periodical of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.  He has also been a magic consultant, a magic teacher and mentor.  Al also wrote an instructional booklet titled, The Complete Guide To Teaching Magic, to help magicians learn how best to teach magic to non-magicians.

In addition to his membership in the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Al is also a member of the Magicians Alliance of Eastern States.
